Close your eyes and I'll kiss you, Tomorrow I'll miss you Remember I'll always be true. And then while I'm away, I'll write home ev'ry day, And I'll send all my loving to you. I'll pretend That I'm kissing the lips I am missing And hope that my dreams will come true. And then while I'm away, I'll write home ev'ry day And I'll send all my loving to you. All my loving I will send to you. All my loving, darling I'll be true.

Just when I thought I finally learned my lesson well, There was more to this than meets the eye. And for all the things you taught me, only time will tell, If I'll be able to survive.
(**) Teacher, teacher, can you teach me Can you tell me all I need to know? Teacher, teacher, can you reach me? Or will I fall when you let me go? Oh no.
Am I ready for the real world, will I pass the test You know it's a jungle out there. Ain't nothin' gonna stop me, I won't be second best But the joke's on those who believe the system's fair (**)
So the years go on and on, but nothing's lost or won. And what you learned is soon forgotten. They take the best years of your life, Try to tell you wrong from right, But you walk away with nothing. (**)
Teacher, teacher, can you teach me? Can you tell me if I'm right or wrong? Teacher, teacher, can you reach me? I wanna know what's goin' on, Oh Teacher, teacher, can you teach me?
Well the dawn was coming, heard him ringing on my bell. He said, My name's the teacher, that is what I call myself. And I have a lesson that I must impart to you. It's an old expression but I must insist it's true. Jump up, look around, find yourself some fun, no sense in sitting there hating everyone. No man's an island and his castle isn't home, the nest is for nothing when the bird has flown.'' So I took a journey, threw my world into the sea. With me went the teacher who found fun instead of me.
Hey man, what's the plan, what was that you said Sun-tanned, drink in hand, lying there in bed. I try to socialize but I can't seem to find what I was looking for, got something on my mind. Then the teacher told me it had been a lot of fun. Thanked me for his ticket and all that I had done.

The title character is an exceedingly prissy, monotonenunsubstituteteacher teaching in a parochial schoolclassroom of exceedingly irreverent, noisy teenage boys . She attempts to teach the class, but the boys totally ignore her. She then tries to get the students' attention by speaking increasingly loudly, to no avail, and then finally screams, "SHUDDUUP!" at the top of her lungs, in startling contrast to her usually placid manner; dead silence ensues. She follows this with a once again prissy "Thank you". This becomes a running joke throughout the skit. (wikipedia)
